How long will the DJI Power 1000 V2 run a coffee maker?
Will the DJI Power 1000 V2 run a coffee maker?
Probably — but the startup surge runs close to the limit
A coffee maker can spike to roughly 2700W for a moment on startup, near the Power 1000 V2's 2600W surge rating. It usually works, but pairing it with other loads may trip the unit.
How we calculated this
We start from the DJI Power 1000 V2's 784 Wh of estimated usable energy at the outlet — its 1,024 Wh rating, derated for a safe depth of discharge and ~15% inverter loss — then divide by the coffee maker's 900W draw:
784 Wh ÷ 900 W ≈ 0.9 hours
Heads up: a coffee maker is a motor/compressor load that spikes 2–3× on startup. The DJI Power 1000 V2's 2200W continuous / 2600W surge output should be checked against that startup spike.
Real-world runtime varies with temperature, cable losses, and how hard the appliance actually cycles. Treat this as a solid estimate, not a guarantee.
